Well that week went by fast!  I think I have a sneaking suspicion that it had something to do with it being a four day work week, but maybe it’s just me?  That picture above is just how I would love to spend my weekend days!  But seriously how amazing is that little image?  I just love how those bold purple shutters open up to that breathtaking view.  Extra points to the person who can identify this location!

Here’s what happened this week…

We released our BTS 2011 video.  If you haven’t watched it yet I highly suggest you do!  It’s pretty fun and cute if I do say so myself!

We chatted about some of the new colors coming our way for Fall 2011 via the Pantone Color forecast here on the blog.

I shared with you one of my favorite trends this season in the fashion world, Color Blocking.  Be inspired and try it at home!

We are currently dreaming about this bright and beachy wedding inspiration shoot via Style Me Pretty.

Thinking about trying to DIY these fun paper flowers I found on Pinterest via Martha and HGTV.

TGIF!  We all made it to Friday!!!  Tonight some of our RIU products are being featured in a little fashion show at one of our local high schools in Stuart, Jensen Beach High School.  Hopefully we will have some pictures on Monday to share!

Happy weekend dear readers!  Here’s to hoping that you can take full advantage of one of the last weekends before summer comes to an end!  I know that I for one am looking forward to some rest and relaxation after my recent college tour travels.  Perhaps I will make a trip to the beach like the adorable image above – however mine would most likely be sans balloons.  Sigh!  Wishing everyone a fabulous weekend!!
