Fall is here!  In the spirit of the new season I have created the perfect fall weekend look for those of you lucky enough to be experiencing some crisp fall weather (not so much for us here in S. Fla!)

The Pantone Spring 2012 Color Report is out and it is fabulous!  I am loving all of these colors and am especially excited to note that you will be seeing a lot of these hues in our new print release for Spring – which by the way I can’t wait to share with you all in a few months.  Until then, I wanted to share with you which colors I am most excited about in this round up.

Tangerine Tango – Orange is going to be big this spring!  It’s such a fun color and it will be interesting to see how retailers will embrace this color.

Cabaret – Doesn’t get much more fun than a hot pink!  This color just screams Spring and Summer to me.

Sodalite Blue – You can never go wrong with a classic Navy.  I especially love it paired with brights (like pink and turquoise) for spring and summer.

Cockatoo – Turquoise to me is always exciting (Blame it on the beautiful S. Fla weather!) and I am happy to see it still going strong moving in to Spring/Summer 12.

Driftwood & Starfish – Loving that these neutral hues are getting some attention.  These neutrals serve as a great way to balance out some of the brighter colors for the season.

Tonight is Fashion’s Night Out!  This is the third year in a row that designers and retailers alike host events for a night of after hours shopping and just a general celebration of the fashion industry.  This year FNO is continuing the branch out to cities beyond the major metropolitan, and odds are there are some events being hosted locally to where you live.  On FNO’s website you can search for local events and plan your night.  So grab some girlfriends and have some fun!

I hope everyone had a fantastic and relaxing long weekend!  To kick off this short week I thought I would share one of my favorite fall-friendly trends:  Classic stripes.  A great striped top, skirt, scarf, etc… is one of the best pieces to mix into your wardrobe as the days get a little cooler.  Classic navy stripes can easily work for spring, summer, fall and winter – just depending on how you mix them in.  Here are some of my favorite ways to bring stripes into your look for fall.  All images found via our Fall Fashion pinterest board.

It’s officially September and Labor Day weekend has arrived!  We hope you all have some fun things planned for your long weekend – let’s all try and soak up the last few days of summer!
