Tomorrow it is officially here – The Royal Wedding!  Admittedly I have been very excited about this day ever since the engagement was announced, and will definitely be tuning in to tomorrow’s coverage.  How about you?  Will you be tuning in tomorrow or going to a Royal Wedding Viewing party?

I was also excited to see that this image taken by famed photog, Mario Testino of the couple, was released yesterday.  This great image is going to be in the official wedding programs!

I recently stumbled upon the TasteSpotting community when I was looking for new recipes to make at home.  The part I love about this website is that it is really visual -  You just click on the food image and it takes you to the original recipe that was posted on the internet.  Not only is this a great spot to find inspiration for your next party (or even weekday meals!), but also a great way to discover new blogs and tastemakers out there on the internet.  It is constantly being updated, so there is never a lull in new recipes.  A win win for sure.  Below I have created a little round up of some of the delicious looking treats that are now on my list to try to make.  How about you?  Have you ever found a great recipe on the internet via TasteSpotting?

Easter weekend is upon us!  Today I googled around for some great DIY easter egg tutorials and found some great how-tos’s on Real Simple.  I always love the pretty pastels that go hand in hand with easter.  They are always so fun and spring-y.  Wishing you and yours a happy and relaxing Easter weekend!  Catch you all next week!! Since a lot of bloggers in the blogosphere participate in Wedding Wednesday, I thought I would bring it on here to the RIU Blog, but with a Royal twist!  I don’t know about you, but personally I am more than just a little excited for next Friday’s Royal nuptials.  Have you all gotten a chance to watch the T-Mobile spoof?  It’s a little silly but definitely worth the watch.

I know that a lot of people have been planning some Royal Wedding viewing parties, (coverage starts on NBC at 5 AM?!) so I thought I would take a few minutes to round up some cute royal-inspired party decor and accoutrements that I found around the net.

Here at RIU we are having an orange moment.  And I don’t think we are alone.  It seems that the fashion and accessory industries are also feeling this orange hue, as it was one of the colors highlighted in this Spring’s color trend line-up.  (Blogged about last week here.)  While I personally do not gravitate to orange when picking out clothing, accessories or home decor – for the moment I am totally digging Orange and it’s many shades this season.

Last Friday RIU was invited to participate at a local Fundraiser Fashion Show for a charity here in Stuart, The Gertrude Walden Child Care Center.  A lot of local shops and businesses had the opportunity to show off their wares to an audience at Jensen Beach HS.  We were more than happy to participate!  Below are some pictures of a few RIU products at the show. Honeysuckle, Orange, Yellow, Aqua.  What do all of these colors have in common?  Why they are the 4 most inspiring colors for Spring 2010!  Since now the majority of the US is in Spring Mode, (80 degrees in Chicago last weekend?!  Insane.)
