Yesterday we had a pretty fun sighting of our popular Lap Desk!  Here is how it went down:  In the morning Jimmy Fallon was on Live! with Regis and Kelly promoting his new book of thank you notes.  As we all know, Jimmy is hilarious and the whole premise of his book is that he is “thanking” all of the people, places, things in his life that he wants to show his gratitude for – of course in his funny and sarcastic way.  So in the midst of him explaining his book, Regis and Kelly then ask him if he would write a few right then and there.  Then the best thing happened – he breaks out a Dream Dot Lap Desk!!  To which both Regis and Kelly then proceed to comment about how cute it is and then each take a turn writing a thank you note while using the lap desk.  It was cute and funny all at the same time.  So thank you, Jimmy, Regis and Kelly – it was the highlight of our Monday for sure!

Today we spotted our Confetti Dot Backpack on the NYC set of the new movie “I Don’t Know How She Does It” starring Christina Hendricks, Busy Phillips (pictured above) and Sarah Jessica Parker. BIG SMILE!  There’s a lot to love about that photo – Busy’s perfectly belted coat, the faux snow and of course that little girl’s fun backpack (I do say that the coordinating color scarf was also excellently styled!) So just a little something fun that happened today that we wanted to share with you all!  Oh and if you want to learn more about that movie it’s actually an adaptation of a novel by Allison Pearson about working mothers.  You can view the whole image slide show on PopSugar here.

It looks like Kate Winslet and her daughter love Room It Up!  We love Kate’s personal style and were so excited to spot her and Mia in the May 8 issue of  Star Magazine toting around Mia’s New Dot Backpack in NYC.  They just look so cute and stylish… we can’t help but LOVE it!  Below is another picture we found with them and the backpack on Zimbio.com
