Happy President’s Day!  I hope all who had the day off from work or school is enjoying their day off, and for those that did not – I hope you are having a great Monday.  This week we are getting pretty excited because on Friday we leave for one of our most favorite trade shows of the year – CAMEX!  CAMEX (Campus Market Expo) is the show where we get to meet and work with all of the buyers from collegiate bookstores from all over the country.  Every year CAMEX is also the first show where we get to show off all of our new BTS merchandise.  This year we have a little something extra in the works, which I hope to tell you all about sooner rather than later!  If you are going to be attending CAMEX in Houston this year please come by and see us in Booth #3037

The trade show train has officially left and the season is off to a strong start!  We just wrapped up SURF Expo last weekend and had a great time showing off the new spring and beach items.  On Wednesday we are headed to Atlanta to set up for the gift show!  This year we have a new prime center Atrium location, and if you are going to the show please stop by and see us!  We will have everything from the new Spring 2011 line and will be offering bonus rewards points for all orders written at the show.  Sweet!  Now, let’s just hope they get all of that snow taken care of… yikes!  Don’t worry this Florida girl will have her Parka and warm weather clothing at the ready for those 30 degree temps.

This week marks the start of the summer trade show season for the Room It Up team!  We are off to Atlanta and starting this Friday (July 16th) we will be showing off our Fall/Holiday 2010 lines in the Room It Up Booth (AmericasMart Bldg 3 5-1000).  We are offering a great show special and giving away our NEW Confetti Dot gift bags, along with our popular pop-up brushes.  If you are headed to the show be sure to stop by and see us!!!

We are ready and open for business at the Stationery Show in NYC! We have the brand new stationery and back to school collections. Booth #1635

The ending of Toy Fair in NYC today marks the end of our busy trade show schedule for January and February.  Together members of the Room It Up team traveled and worked on  a record 6 shows throughout the past 7 weeks.  Whew!  That being said we had a great time launching the new Room It Up spring collection to a variety of different retailers and audiences.  A big thank you goes out to all of you that stopped by our booth at any of the shows and helped make this January and February a great and productive couple of months.  Meanwhile the travel crew here at RIU is happy to unpack our suitcases and settle back into our offices until mid March (for CAMEX of course!)

With all of our travels came all sorts of new finds and insights that I will be sure to share with you here on our blog in some upcoming posts.  Be sure to stay tuned.
